Sidekicks

Sidekicks are a type of pet you battle along side with. Not only do they help you out in combat, they also can do special tasks for you, like gathering cards or rare items. Everyone receives a sidekick after completing (Goddess) Back to the Past. You are required to converse with your sidekick through the "Talk" function. When talking to your sidekick their favor will go up. If a sidekick has low favor, his performance and stats will decrease. Teaching is another required function for your sidekick which will result in a level up. When allocating stats, it will result in different advancements.

Unique Class[]

Certain Sidekicks start off with more than just the regular skills for their class. These special sidekicks get their own unique class with its own unique collection of four new skills, in addition to the skills available to their class regularly. Skill Limits[]

Sidekicks only have access to a total of 4 skills, and skills learned can only be erased using a Forgetful Rod. This is still true even for unique sidekicks, which have 4 unique skills available to them automatically.

Refining: Collects Cards for use in Crafting.
Treasure Hunter: Hunts for various exclusive Items.
Fusion: Combines Ores to created an improved version.

Sidekick Equipment[]

Animal Sidekicks get their own special equipment to wear, while Human Deity Sidekicks (including Regular Humans marked with a *) can wear any costume available to the player (so long as they are the correct gender). Regular Humans and Unique Sidekicks can not wear any equipment.
